Spice up your Sticky Notes

Sticky Notes, found in Windows 7 is a very useful tool. You can use them just like their paper counterpart. Unfortunately the default font is one of the ugliest the author has had to endure until he started to experiment. Sticky Notes are incredibly useful as a jotter for temporary info or even info that you need to keep to hand for quick reference such are web addresses or reminders etc.

However, the author finds the default font, size and colour most distressing to look at for any length of time.The default font, font size and font colour are fixed. The good thing is that they can be changed!Easy Recovery Iphone

It is easy to change these three parameters to whatever you prefer. Each of the images of the Sticky Notes I have used as a demonstration and example have had the font parameters changed by the following procedure:

1. Open Microsoft Word, or any other word processor that allows a change of font style, colour and size.
2. Type a few characters (such as ‘qwerty’) in the font, size and colour of your choice.
3. Copy the characters (Ctrl+C)
4. Open a new Sticky Note and paste the characters down.
5. Then place the cursor at the end of the string of characters (after the ‘y’ in qwerty) and then press the ‘Enter’ key a few times to create a few blank lines.
6. Now delete the first line (qwerty)Data Recovery Software

Now, anything typed into those blank lines will appear in your chosen font, size and colour! Don’t forget, the size can also be changed by using the Ctrl+Shift+> to increase any highlighted text. Conversely, Ctrl+Shift+< will make it smaller.
