LG전자는 3일 서울에서 G7 씽큐 공개 이후 본격적으로 새 전략 스마트폰 마케팅에 돌입할 예정이다.

LG전자는 앞서 26일 페이스북, 유튜브 채널 등을 통해 글로벌 인기 아이돌그룹 '방탄소년단(BTS)'이 출연하는 동영상 티저 광고를 공개했다.

G7 씽큐 공개 다음 날인 4일에는 용산역, 하남 스타필드, 대전역 등 거점을 중심으로 대규모 체험존을 오픈한다.

이전보다 체험존을 대폭 늘리고, 스마트폰 교체 수요를 잡기 위한 중고폰 보상 프로그램인 'LG 고객 안심 보상 프로그램'을 홍보할 계획이다.

출시일은 다음달 18일이 될 가능성이 크다. 가격은 미정이다.

LG전자 관계자는 "G7 씽큐의 진화된 AI 기능은 체험을 통해 진면목이 드러날 것"이라며 "공개 행사 방식 변화와 체험 마케팅 확대는 제품에 대한 자신감을 보여주기 위함"이라고 설명했다.
